Dr. Dior is the Director of the Endometriosis Center of the Hadassah Medical Center and a senior surgeon in the Gynecology Department in Hadassah Ein Kerem.

Dr. Dior has completed his medical studies in the Hadassah Hebrew-University medical school. He also completed with excellence a Masters in Public Health. After finishing medical school, Dr. Dior has performed his internship at the Hadassah-Medical-Center where he was selected as the outstanding intern of the year.

Dr. Dior proceeded to his training in Obstetrics & Gynecology in the Obstetrics & Gynecology department of Hadassah Ein-Kerem, during which he won several awards recognizing his clinical and research work.

Following this, Dr. Dior relocated to Melbourne, Australia, where he has completed the full 2 years fellowship of the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society in Advanced Gynecological Laparoscopy in the most prestigious hospital in Australia- The Royal Women's Hospital, under the guidance of world leading surgeons. During his fellowship, Dr. Dior performed nearly 1000 surgeries and was trained to operate on the most difficult cases.

Dr. Dior stayed another year in Australia. In this year he continued to operate at the Royal Women's Hospital and enhanced his training with an additional training in reproductive medicine.

Upon his return to Israel in September 2018 he established the Endometriosis Center of Hadassah and was appointed as its director. Since his return to Israel, Dr Dior has performed numerous laparoscopic surgeries for a wide variety of gynecological diseases, some of which were never performed before in Jerusalem.

Dr. Dior is also very active in research and published nearly 40 scientific papers. He has won the most prestigious awards in conferences of the leading associations for gynecological surgery worldwide. Just recently he won, second year in a row the prize of the Israeli Association of Gynecological Endoscopy for the best research.

Dr. Dior is passionate about treating women who suffer infertility and gynecological diseases. He provides the most professional and compassionate care and is highly recommended by his many patients.

Dr. Dior specializes in Gynecological Endoscopic surgery and specifically in Laparoscopic (key-hole) surgery. He manages patients who suffer from the entire range of gynecological disorders, such as:

• Endometriosis and pelvic pain
• Irregular bleeding
• Heavy Menstrual Bleeding
• Uterine fibroids (Myomas)
• Uterine defects (niche/isthmocele)
• Ovarian cysts

Dr. Dior performs the following surgeries:

• Laparoscopic Hysterectomy- for any gynecological reason.
• Laparoscopic myomectomy- Dr. Dior specializes in the surgical treatment of uterine fibroids.
• Laparoscopic oophorectomy (removal of ovaries)
• Laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy- Dr. Dior specializes in the safe removal of ovarian cysts with preservation of fertility and ovarian function.
• Laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis (all stages, from mild disease to the most severe disease)
• Laparoscopic repair of uterine niches (Isthmocele)- for patients with uterine niches after cesarean sections who suffer irregular bleeding and/or thin residual uterine muscle necessitating repair prior to another pregnancy.
• Laparoscopic removal of all types of ectopic pregnancies (tubal, ovarian, corneal, cesarean scar pregnancies)
• Laparoscopic Cerclage- for patients with cervical insufficiency who failed vaginal cerclage.
